Painting of a Photo
Either acquire a picture and paint this yourself, then gift it. Or if you believe this might be a creative project they might enjoy, gift it to them. There is also the option of sending it to someone else to have a particular photo memorialized. They can clean up the background and add elements as well.
It's also possible to meld two images from an other photo into a memorial photo of only two subjects, like these:
