Mystery Deliveries - Gifts of Grief

Get a group of friends together and agree to send a small Amazon gift every few days to your friend who has experienced a loss. This does not need to be a commemorative gift, it can be a tube of lotion; a small kitchen implement; anything really. But each Amazon gift receipt is signed with an agreed upon signature, such as "Your BFF GROUP" "The People Who Loved Mason" etc., it adds a sense of wonder to the day.

Have each person put a special note such as "Thinking about you today and hoping you are having a healing day. Thought of you when I saw this. Signed Your BFF GROUP"

She never knows what she might be receiving, and never knows who it is from. It could anyone. It pulls her mind from grief and towards the future in a small way each time she receives one of these. One group sent something weekly for over a year.

You can send any small item, but it might help to send your group some ideas so they catch onto the idea that it isn't the size, it's the surprise. The gifts should arrive on random days for several months.

The gifts can be delivered by Amazon or a local business or by each gifter in a stealthy manner. It's up to each person to decide how he/she will get the gift into the griever's hands.
